Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vaca by Francisco Toledo was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2021. The price achieved of USD 277,200.00 (€ 227,324.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 250,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francisco Toledo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Meu Xubi in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 1,040,000.00 (€ 943,824.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vaca von Francisco Toledo wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 277.200,00 (€ 227.324,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 250.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francisco Toledo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Meu Xubi im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.040.000,00 (€ 943.824,30).
