Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The harp player by Francisco Masriera y Manovens was sold in the 19C European Art auction at Christies in London in April 2000. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,575.00 (€ 18,103.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Francisco Masriera y Manovens have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La marchande de mode, 1894 in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 144,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The harp player von Francisco Masriera y Manovens wurde im April 2000 in der Auktion 19C European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 10.575,00 (€ 18.103,97) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francisco Masriera y Manovens auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La marchande de mode, 1894 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 144.250,00.
