Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2005 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures, which included the work La serenata by Francisco Masriera y Manovens. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 16,800.00 (€ 24,384.26). Admittedly, works by Francisco Masriera y Manovens have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La marchande de mode, 1894 in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 144,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit La serenata von Francisco Masriera y Manovens zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 16.800,00 (€ 24.384,26) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francisco Masriera y Manovens auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La marchande de mode, 1894 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 144.250,00.
