Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Pintura N:o 4" by Francisco Farreras was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2009, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 14,000.00 (€ 1,345.44). Admittedly, works by Francisco Farreras have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Perseo in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 11,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Pintura N:o 4" von Francisco Farreras im Oktober 2009 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 14.000,00 (€ 1.345,44) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francisco Farreras auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Perseo im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.400,00.
