Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2004 Christies in Madrid held the auction ARTE ESPANOL, which included the work Sin Título by Francisco Farreras. The price achieved of EUR 3,585.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francisco Farreras - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Perseo, which sold at auction in October 2006 for EUR 11,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2004 führte Christies in Madrid die Auktion ARTE ESPANOL durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sin Título von Francisco Farreras zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.585,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Francisco Farreras mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Perseo beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für EUR 11.400,00 versteigert wurde.
