In the American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Springtime sold for USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,364.94) - well above the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francis Coates Jones achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fishing Along The River Bank in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 181,000.00 (€ 116,323.91).
