Here, the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 40,000.00 (€ 31,113.88). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francis Coates Jones - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fishing Along The River Bank, which sold at auction in May 2008 for USD 181,000.00 (€ 116,323.91).
