Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Francesco Zugno could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in February 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master and 19th Century European Paintings and Drawings, including Property from the Estate of Giancarlo Baroni auction, the work The Milliner changed hands for USD 11,875.00 (€ 9,079.44) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Zugno achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Laban looking for the idols hidden by Rachel; and The Finding of Moses in January 2001 with an auction result of USD 138,000.00 (€ 148,259.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Francesco Zugno konnte im Februar 2013 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master and 19th Century European Paintings and Drawings, including Property from the Estate of Giancarlo Baroni wechselte die Arbeit The Milliner für USD 11.875,00 (€ 9.079,44) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Zugno erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Laban looking for the idols hidden by Rachel; and The Finding of Moses im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 138.000,00 (€ 148.259,56).
