Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of a young boy with a dog by Francesco Zugno was auctioned at Christies in New York in January 2005. The price achieved of USD 48,000.00 (€ 36,784.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francesco Zugno have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Laban looking for the idols hidden by Rachel; and The Finding of Moses in January 2001 with an auction result of USD 138,000.00 (€ 148,259.56).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 48.000,00 (€ 36.784,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden.
