Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2020 Il Ponte held the auction Arredi e Dipinti Antichi, Argenti, Tappeti e Tessuti, Historica, Strumenti Musicali, Disegni e Incisioni di Antichi Maestri, which included the work Pastorelli con pecore e capre by Francesco Londonio. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Londonio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shepherds with their grazing sheep; Shepherds resting with their flock; and Peasants traveling with donkeys and sheep in January 2005 with an auction result of USD 72,000.00 (€ 55,176.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2020 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arredi e Dipinti Antichi, Argenti, Tappeti e Tessuti, Historica, Strumenti Musicali, Disegni e Incisioni di Antichi Maestri durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pastorelli con pecore e capre von Francesco Londonio zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.800,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Londonio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shepherds with their grazing sheep; Shepherds resting with their flock; and Peasants traveling with donkeys and sheep im Januar 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 72.000,00 (€ 55.176,64).
