Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Francesco Londonio could be acquired at Il Ponte in October 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master Drawings and Engravings auction, the work Pastoral scenes changed hands for EUR 500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 600.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Londonio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shepherds with their grazing sheep; Shepherds resting with their flock; and Peasants traveling with donkeys and sheep in January 2005 with an auction result of USD 72,000.00 (€ 55,176.64).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Francesco Londonio konnte im Oktober 2018 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master Drawings and Engravings wechselte die Arbeit Pastoral scenes für EUR 500,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Londonio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shepherds with their grazing sheep; Shepherds resting with their flock; and Peasants traveling with donkeys and sheep im Januar 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 72.000,00 (€ 55.176,64).
