Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Francesco de Mura could be acquired at Sothebys in London in July 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Masters Day Sale auction, the work Allegory Of Summer Or Allegory Of Music; Allegory Of Autumm changed hands for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 30,193.17) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francesco de Mura have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Martirio Di Santa Barbara Strage Degli Innocenti in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 132,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Francesco de Mura konnte im Juli 2019 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Allegory Of Summer Or Allegory Of Music; Allegory Of Autumm für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 30.193,17) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco de Mura auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Martirio Di Santa Barbara Strage Degli Innocenti im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 132.750,00.
