Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Madonna And Child With The Infant Saint John The Baptist by Francesco de Mura for USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,677.50). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco de Mura achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Martirio Di Santa Barbara Strage Degli Innocenti in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 132,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Madonna And Child With The Infant Saint John The Baptist von Francesco de Mura für USD 9.375,00 (€ 7.677,50) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco de Mura erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Martirio Di Santa Barbara Strage Degli Innocenti im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 132.750,00.
