Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Paintings and Portrait Miniatures, which included the work The Virgin And Child With The Infant Saint John The Baptist by Francesco de Mura. It changed hands for a price of GBP 5,670.00 (€ 6,522.15) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco de Mura achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Martirio Di Santa Barbara Strage Degli Innocenti in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 132,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings and Portrait Miniatures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Virgin And Child With The Infant Saint John The Baptist von Francesco de Mura zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 5.670,00 (€ 6.522,15) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco de Mura erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Martirio Di Santa Barbara Strage Degli Innocenti im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 132.750,00.
