This artwork by Francesco de Mura achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in April last year. In the Old Master Paintings auction, the work The Madonna and Child with angels unframed sold for GBP 5,355.00 (€ 6,385.65) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco de Mura achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Martirio Di Santa Barbara Strage Degli Innocenti in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 132,750.00.

Oberer Schätzpreis um 79 % übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Francesco de Mura erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Paintings wurde die Arbeit The Madonna and Child with angels unframed für GBP 5.355,00 (€ 6.385,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco de Mura erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Martirio Di Santa Barbara Strage Degli Innocenti im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 132.750,00.
