Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Confection by Francesca Dimattio was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2019. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,231.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesca Dimattio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Knot, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,860.25).

Für andere Arbeiten von Francesca Dimattio mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Knot beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.860,25) versteigert wurde.
