Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ladder by Francesca Dimattio was sold in the Handpicked: 50 Works Selected by the Saatchi Gallery auction at Christies in London in June 2018. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,944.50) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,500.00 – 4,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesca Dimattio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Knot, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,860.25).
