This artwork by Fougasse achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in May 2014. In the Vintage Posters auction, the work This Is One Way To Hail A Bus ... sold for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,687.10) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fougasse - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Careless Talk Costs Lives, which sold at auction in May 2013 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,768.67).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Fougasse erzielte im Mai 2014 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Vintage Posters wurde die Arbeit This Is One Way To Hail A Bus ... für GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.687,10) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fougasse mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Careless Talk Costs Lives beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.768,67) versteigert wurde.
