This artwork by Fougasse achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2013. In the Vintage Posters auction, the work Careless Talk Costs Lives sold for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,432.47) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Fougasse; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Careless Talk Costs Lives sold at auction in May 2013 with the realized price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,768.67).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Fougasse erzielte im Oktober 2013 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Vintage Posters wurde die Arbeit Careless Talk Costs Lives für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.432,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.800,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Fougasse; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Careless Talk Costs Lives im Mai 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.768,67).
