Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Fitness, Monday To Saturday by Fougasse for GBP 500.00 (€ 591.00). This price was achieved in the auction Vintage Posters at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fougasse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Careless Talk Costs Lives in May 2013 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,768.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Fitness, Monday To Saturday von Fougasse für GBP 500,00 (€ 591,00) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Vintage Posters bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fougasse erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Careless Talk Costs Lives im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.768,67).
