The work Careless Talk Costs Lives by Fougasse was sold in the Vintage Posters Online auction at Bonhams in February this year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,181.46), 59% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Fougasse have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Careless Talk Costs Lives in May 2013 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,768.67).

Die Arbeit Careless Talk Costs Lives von Fougasse wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Vintage Posters Online bei Bonhams versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.181,46) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fougasse auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Careless Talk Costs Lives im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.768,67).
