This artwork by Fougasse achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2012. In the Posters With A Purpose: The London Transport Museum Sale auction, the work 'Romance', 'Too Much Waiting' & 'Habit' sold for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,419.14) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fougasse - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Careless Talk Costs Lives, which sold at auction in May 2013 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,768.67).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Fougasse erzielte im Oktober 2012 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Posters With A Purpose: The London Transport Museum Sale wurde die Arbeit 'Romance', 'Too Much Waiting' & 'Habit' für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.419,14) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fougasse mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Careless Talk Costs Lives beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.768,67) versteigert wurde.
