A top price for Fouad Elkoury - as previously expected
The work Lebanese sherihan (From The Egyptian Cinema Series) by Fouad Elkoury was auctioned at Sothebys in Dubai in November 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 18,750.00 (€ 15,758.95) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Lebanese sherihan (From The Egyptian Cinema Series) is the most expensive artwork by Fouad Elkoury that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Lebanese sherihan (From The Egyptian Cinema Series) von Fouad Elkoury kam im November 2017 bei Sothebys in Dubai zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 15.758,95) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
