Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art / Arab & Iranian, which included the work Smile by Fouad Elkoury. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 7,750.00 (€ 8,935.87). Other works by Fouad Elkoury have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 18,750.00 (€ 15,758.95) in November 2017 for the work Lebanese sherihan (From The Egyptian Cinema Series).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art / Arab & Iranian durch, in der auch die Arbeit Smile von Fouad Elkoury zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 7.750,00 (€ 8.935,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Fouad Elkoury haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 15.758,95) im November 2017 für die Arbeit Lebanese sherihan (From The Egyptian Cinema Series) beobachtet.
