The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,276.86) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fortunino Matania achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Complete Set of Illustrations For The Tinker'S Wig in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 11,760.00 (€ 17,429.06).
