Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gemberpot Met Doronicums: Flowers In A Ginger Jar by Floris Verster was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2004. The price achieved of EUR 9,560.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Floris Verster have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch A Still Life With Marigold And Delphinium In A Bowl in April 2009 with an auction result of EUR 42,750.00.

Die Arbeit Gemberpot Met Doronicums: Flowers In A Ginger Jar von Floris Verster wurde im April 2004 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.560,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Floris Verster auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch A Still Life With Marigold And Delphinium In A Bowl im April 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.750,00.
