This artwork by Floris Verster achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Amsterdam in October 2007. In the 19th Century European Paintings auction, the work In The Artist'S Studio sold for EUR 36,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Floris Verster; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Dutch A Still Life With Marigold And Delphinium In A Bowl sold at auction in April 2009 with the realized price of EUR 42,750.00.

In der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings wurde die Arbeit In The Artist'S Studio für EUR 36.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Floris Verster; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Dutch A Still Life With Marigold And Delphinium In A Bowl im April 2009 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 42.750,00.
