The result of EUR 10,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Floris Arntzenius achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work De Spuistraat met gezicht naar het Plein, The Hague in October 2000 with an auction result of NLG 421,272.00 (€ 202,196.66).

Die Arbeit A view of Hoorn von Floris Arntzenius wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 10.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Floris Arntzenius erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit De Spuistraat met gezicht naar het Plein, The Hague im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 421.272,00 (€ 202.196,66).
