Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A view of the Spuistraat, The Hague. by Floris Arntzenius was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. The price achieved of EUR 49,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Floris Arntzenius have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work De Spuistraat met gezicht naar het Plein, The Hague in October 2000 with an auction result of NLG 421,272.00 (€ 202,196.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A view of the Spuistraat, The Hague. von Floris Arntzenius kam im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 49.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Floris Arntzenius auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit De Spuistraat met gezicht naar het Plein, The Hague im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 421.272,00 (€ 202.196,66).
