Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled(Immunity)7 by Florian Schmidt was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in July 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,125.00 (€ 2,807.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Florian Schmidt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Hold) 5, which sold at auction in September 2014 for USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,939.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled(Immunity)7 von Florian Schmidt kam im Juli 2019 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.125,00 (€ 2.807,73) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Florian Schmidt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Hold) 5 beobachtet, die im September 2014 für USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.939,18) versteigert wurde.
