Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Florian Schmidt could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open/ NYC auction, the work Untitled (Community) 3 changed hands for USD 625.00 (€ 566.74) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Florian Schmidt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Hold) 5 in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,939.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Florian Schmidt konnte im Juli 2015 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open/ NYC wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Community) 3 für USD 625,00 (€ 566,74) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Florian Schmidt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Hold) 5 im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.939,18).
