Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Florian Schmidt could be acquired at Phillips in an online auction in February 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Wired: Online Auction auction, the work Untitled (Reservoir) 04 changed hands for GBP 945.00 (€ 1,089.88) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Florian Schmidt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Hold) 5 in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,939.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Florian Schmidt konnte im Februar 2021 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Wired: Online Auction wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Reservoir) 04 für GBP 945,00 (€ 1.089,88) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Florian Schmidt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Hold) 5 im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.939,18).
