Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Writer's block by Florent Willems was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2007. The price achieved of GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,298.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Florent Willems have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le départ pour la chasse au faucon in January 2008 with an auction result of GBP 29,300.00 (€ 39,277.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Writer's block von Florent Willems kam im März 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.298,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Florent Willems auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le départ pour la chasse au faucon im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 29.300,00 (€ 39.277,91).
