This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art & Picasso Ceramics at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Florence Henri - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition (bobbins and mirrors), 1928, which sold at auction in May 2008 for GBP 24,500.00 (€ 31,165.07).
