Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Fig. 10) by Fiona Rae was sold in the Contemporary Art Online | London auction at Sothebys in London in August 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,352.60). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fiona Rae achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figure 1i in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 77,560.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Fig. 10) von Fiona Rae wurde im August 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | London bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.352,60) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fiona Rae erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figure 1i im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 77.560,40).
