Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Entombment by Ferraù Fenzoni was auctioned at Christies in New York in January 2001. The price achieved of USD 47,000.00 (€ 50,494.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ferraù Fenzoni have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Pool of Bethesda (recto); A subsidiary study of the lower right group and of the figure of Christ (verso) in January 2000 with an auction result of USD 200,500.00 (€ 205,493.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Entombment von Ferraù Fenzoni kam im Januar 2001 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 47.000,00 (€ 50.494,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ferraù Fenzoni auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Pool of Bethesda (recto); A subsidiary study of the lower right group and of the figure of Christ (verso) im Januar 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 200.500,00 (€ 205.493,49).
