Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Drawings, which included the work The Madonna And Child Borne Aloft By Putti by Ferraù Fenzoni. Here, the upper estimate of USD 16,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,691.35). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ferraù Fenzoni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Pool of Bethesda (recto); A subsidiary study of the lower right group and of the figure of Christ (verso) in January 2000 with an auction result of USD 200,500.00 (€ 205,493.49).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Pool of Bethesda (recto); A subsidiary study of the lower right group and of the figure of Christ (verso) im Januar 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 200.500,00 (€ 205.493,49).
