Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work A seated boy holding a book and looking upwards by Ferraù Fenzoni for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,948.30). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Drawings at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ferraù Fenzoni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Pool of Bethesda (recto); A subsidiary study of the lower right group and of the figure of Christ (verso) in January 2000 with an auction result of USD 200,500.00 (€ 205,493.49).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Pool of Bethesda (recto); A subsidiary study of the lower right group and of the figure of Christ (verso) im Januar 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 200.500,00 (€ 205.493,49).
