Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ferdinando Vichi could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in January 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction, the work Contemplation changed hands for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,055.52) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ferdinando Vichi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Psyche in October this year with an auction result of USD 138,600.00 (€ 131,150.64).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ferdinando Vichi konnte im Januar 2010 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art wechselte die Arbeit Contemplation für USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.055,52) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ferdinando Vichi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Psyche im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 138.600,00 (€ 131.150,64).
