Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work La Fata by Ferdinando Vichi. The price achieved of USD 56,250.00 (€ 50,707.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ferdinando Vichi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Psyche, which sold at auction in October this year for USD 138,600.00 (€ 131,150.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Fata von Ferdinando Vichi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 50.707,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ferdinando Vichi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Psyche beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für USD 138.600,00 (€ 131.150,64) versteigert wurde.
