Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Italian masquerade by Ferdinando Vichi was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2013. The price achieved of USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,780.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ferdinando Vichi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Psyche in October this year with an auction result of USD 138,600.00 (€ 131,150.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Italian masquerade von Ferdinando Vichi wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 13.780,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ferdinando Vichi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Psyche im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 138.600,00 (€ 131.150,64).
