This artwork by Ferdinand Richardt achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May 2019. In the American Art Online auction, the work Fruit and Plants with a Crystal Bowl sold for USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,665.89) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ferdinand Richardt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View of Niagara Falls in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 288,000.00 (€ 214,078.64).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ferdinand Richardt erzielte im Mai 2019 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion American Art Online wurde die Arbeit Fruit and Plants with a Crystal Bowl für USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.665,89) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ferdinand Richardt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View of Niagara Falls im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 288.000,00 (€ 214.078,64).
