Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ferdinand Richardt could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work “Parti fra Aalsgaard” changed hands for DKK 2,900.00 (€ 389.02) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ferdinand Richardt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View of Niagara Falls in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 288,000.00 (€ 214,078.64).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ferdinand Richardt konnte im August diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit “Parti fra Aalsgaard” für DKK 2.900,00 (€ 389,02) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ferdinand Richardt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View of Niagara Falls im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 288.000,00 (€ 214.078,64).
