In the Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work View of Niagara Falls sold for USD 288,000.00 (€ 214,078.64) - well above the upper estimate of USD 100,000.00. This high result makes View of Niagara Falls the most expensive artwork by Ferdinand Richardt that we have observed at auctions so far.
