Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Chinese Portrait G Series 2007 No. 16 by Feng Zhengjie was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in March 2017. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,902.90), 18% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Feng Zhengjie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chinese Portrait Series, No.08 in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 2,887,500.00 (€ 237,966.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Chinese Portrait G Series 2007 No. 16 von Feng Zhengjie wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.902,90) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Feng Zhengjie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chinese Portrait Series, No.08 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.887.500,00 (€ 237.966,50).
