This artwork by Feng Yiming achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. In the Fine Modern Chinese Paintings auction, the work Running Stream from the Mountain sold for HKD 288,000.00 (€ 27,423.47) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Feng Yiming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mysterious Clouds in the Fall, which sold at auction in May 2012 for HKD 680,000.00 (€ 70,837.92).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Feng Yiming erzielte im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Modern Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Running Stream from the Mountain für HKD 288.000,00 (€ 27.423,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Feng Yiming mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mysterious Clouds in the Fall beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für HKD 680.000,00 (€ 70.837,92) versteigert wurde.
