Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Félix Del Marle could be acquired at Christies in New York in May this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Sans titre changed hands for USD 13,860.00 (€ 13,009.20) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Félix Del Marle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bretonnes in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 153,264.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Félix Del Marle konnte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Sans titre für USD 13.860,00 (€ 13.009,20) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Félix Del Marle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bretonnes im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 121.250,00 (€ 153.264,07).
