Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fugue (Recto Verso) by Félix Del Marle was sold in the Collection Arthur Brandt : Dada, Surréalisme et au-delà auction at Sothebys in Paris in October 2017. The price achieved of EUR 4,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Félix Del Marle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bretonnes in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 153,264.07).

Die Arbeit Fugue (Recto Verso) von Félix Del Marle wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Collection Arthur Brandt : Dada, Surréalisme et au-delà bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Félix Del Marle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bretonnes im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 121.250,00 (€ 153.264,07).
