Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ovales by Félix Del Marle was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in October 2019. The price achieved of EUR 47,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Félix Del Marle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bretonnes, which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 121,250.00 (€ 153,264.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ovales von Félix Del Marle kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 47.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Félix Del Marle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bretonnes beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für GBP 121.250,00 (€ 153.264,07) versteigert wurde.
