In November 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included this untitled work by Felipe Castañeda. The »bidding war« ended at USD 22,500.00 (€ 18,910.74), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Felipe Castañeda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Maternity, which sold at auction in May 2008 for USD 91,000.00 (€ 58,483.29).

Im November 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Felipe Castañeda zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 18.910,74) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Felipe Castañeda mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Maternity beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für USD 91.000,00 (€ 58.483,29) versteigert wurde.
